Retired Lieutenant-General to lecture on conflict, globalization and the role of nations in peacetime

Roméo Dallaire has been invited by the Université du Nouveau Monde, in conjunction with McGill University's Quebec Studies Program, to deliver a major lecture on August 21. Retired Lieutenant-General Dallaire, the former commander of the peacekeeping forces in Rwanda during the genocide, will deliver a lecture, in French, on conflict, globalization and the role of nations in peacetime.

Université du Nouveau Monde

Université du Nouveau Monde is a unique event in Quebec. From August 19 to 22, hundreds of young people from all over Quebec will get together in Montreal for lectures, debates and workshops.

Université du Nouveau Monde seeks to stimulate the interest of young Quebecers on major social, economic, political and cultural issues facing Quebec. Université du Nouveau Monde is one of the most important youth activities in Quebec, with over 500 participants.
