Underground Infrastructure and Sewer Work on University Street, starting January 13, 2025

Starting January 13, the SQI project will begin underground infrastructure work and sewer connections on University Street, north of Avenue des Pins for a period of three weeks. These activities are coordinated with the ongoing construction on both Avenue des Pins and University Street.

Key Details:

  • Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Traffic: University Street (north of Avenue des Pins) will be reduced to a single lane during construction. Traffic will alternate, managed by traffic controllers. After 5:00 PM and on weekends, two lanes will be available.
  • Pedestrian Access: Pedestrian pathways will remain open at all times.
  • Patient Drop-off: The drop-off zone will be relocated to the North Wing L3 drop-off area and entrance at the top of the street.
  • Parking: No stopping will be allowed on University Street. Please adhere to all signage and parking restrictions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Access to The Neuro: Access to The Neuro will be maintained throughout the work. Interior signage and staff will assist with wayfinding for appointments once inside the building.
