Neuro Staff: Returning to work after travelling abroad

If you are returning to Canada after any foreign travel on March 12 and beyond, you must:

  • Comply with a mandatory 14-day self-isolation period at home from the day of your return and call extension 44FLU (44358)

If you have visited China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iran, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Spain and South Korea and returned to Canada before March 12, you must:

  • Comply with a mandatory 14-day self-isolation period at home from the day of your return and call extension 44FLU (44358)

If you have been in contact with a person infected with the virus, you must:

  • Comply with a mandatory 14-day self-isolation period at home from the day of contact and call extension 44FLU (44358)

If you have symptoms of respiratory tract infection (fever and/or cough or dyspnea and/or sore throat), whether you have travelled or not, you must:

  • Not report for work and call extension 44FLU (44358)

All professional travel outside of Canada (including the United States) for all Institute (McGill) employees is suspended until August 31, 2020. This includes travel to attend a conference or a meeting, take part in a delegation or clinical rotations, and electives.
