COVID at The Neuro

Published: 23Mar2020

Two staff members have tested positive for COVID-19.  Those who might have been exposed are now in quarantine. This quarantine has reduced the hospital’s staffing capacity.  As a result, and for the safety of all our patients and staff, a 48 hour suspension of activities in all the ambulatory/outpatient clinics, radiology, and operating room has been imposed.  This will give The Neuro time to reorganise medical teams in order to resume the critical care of our patients. Currently The Neuro is not under quarantine and does not have any COVID-19 positive patients.

Patients with treatments scheduled in the Day Centre and Clinical Research Unit should come in as scheduled.  Patients that are not to come in, have been contacted.

We thank you for your patience and cooperation during this extraordinary situation.
