Developmental history-taking for neurodevelopmental conditions
About the workshop
Evaluation for neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and Global Developmental Delay and/or Intellectual Disability (GDD/ID) are based on a combination of behavioural observations and the collection of information about current and past symptoms. Taking a detailed and comprehensive developmental history is an integral part of the evaluation process.
In this workshop, health practitioners will learn essential skills for conducting thorough developmental history interviews.
Led by licensed neuropsychologist Dr. Julie Scorah, this three-hour session will equip you with valuable insights and techniques to enhance your diagnostic evaluation process.
