 course includes a combination of lectures\, demonstrations\, and group wor
 k using real life case examples. Class size is limited to ensure a high le
 vel of interactivity.\n\nThe workshop is designed to provide participants 
 with:\n\n\n	A generic “5-step” framework for managing projects that is cons
 istent with the worldwide “Project Management Institute Book of Knowledge”
 \, and can be applied on any project\;\n	The ability to “read” project envi
 ronments\, detect and diagnose barriers and roadblocks\, and prepare strat
 egies for moving their projects forward\;\n	The skills and methods to apply
  at their workplaces immediately.\n	A broad context of the subject and pote
 ntial avenues for continued learning.\n\n\nBy the end of this course\, par
 ticipants will be able to:\n\n\n	Position projects and deadlines within a c
 ommon “5-step” framework\;\n	Quickly map out an action plan for moving a pr
 oject forward\, or getting a project back on track\;\n	Use and adapt key te
 mplates and processes supporting the 5-step framework\;\n	Understand the ro
 le and challenges of the “project manager” function\; and\n	Understand how 
 a project management tool (ex: Microsoft Project) may help him/her fulfill
