Managing Change During Uncertain Times

Wednesday, February 10, 2021 14:00to16:00

In times of important change – whether planned or unplanned – we may experience heightened resistance, stress, and disorientation. What is known seems lost, and the future remains unclear. Staying agile requires us to find that optimal balance between building on what IS solid, and “unlearning/relearning” where it counts. We’re invited to find new ways of honoring what is most important – not to give up what is essential.

As we negotiate our way through the 3 stages of transition (William Bridges), we DO have choices. Our real power lies within: our thoughts, meanings, assumptions, attitudes and actions. Placing energy into what we CAN control, and accepting the rest goes a long way in managing our morale and energy over time. We can effectively influence others in these times of uncertainty through our positive and realistic vision, groundedness, actions and overall communications. Learn to manage change, rather than letting it manage you.

This half-day workshop will provide participants with:

  • Increased ability to manage change and resistance (personally and interpersonally)
  • Greater understanding of their own responses to change and what is within their power and responsibility
  • Ways to effectively negotiate the waters of transition
  • Strategies and tools to continue to perform effectively and prevent burnout during a period of change.
