In memory of Eleanor Stubley

Our community is mourning the loss of beloved music professor Eleanor Stubley, who has died unexpectedly.

Eleanor was an accomplished choral conductor and an engaging scholar with a deeply creative spirit. As Associate Dean of Graduate Studies in Music, she was a tireless and innovative advocate for our students.

Big win for Milton Quartet

The Milton Quartet, who study with Prof. André Roy, won the Gold Medal and Grand Prize at the 2017 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition.

The competition is the largest of its kind, with an average of 125 ensembles participating from around the world each year.

Music students win Dobson prize

Ph.D. Sound Recording students Bryan Martin and Matthew Boerum, along with Julien Lacheré, recently won $11,000 in seed funding for their company Audible Reality at the McGill Dobson Cup.
