Video: A Glimpse of Life at Schulich
The Schulich School of Music is home to both the historic Strathcona Music Building and the new music complex, which includes a world-class sound recording and music technology research facility and an extensive Music Library. In addition to a rehearsal space, large enough for an entire orchestra, this complex provides considerable room for music instruction, practice, and performance in a near-perfect acoustic environment. Founded as the Conservatorium of Music in 1904 and later incorporated as a Faculty in 1920, the Schulich School of Music has enjoyed steady growth to its present position as the largest music school in Canada.
To learn more about the Schulich School of Music of McGill University, student life, our exceptional facilities and the unique features that set Schulich apart, prospective students are encouraged to take a Schulich tour.
