Julia Dokter awarded the 2013 Noah Greenberg prize by the American Musicological Society
Julia Dokter received the 2013 Noah Greenberg award for outstanding research/performance projects for her
research/performance project into 17th-century tactus and tempo and the application of this research to the music of Matthias Weckmann. She is a doctoral candidate in organ performance (D.Mus., 2014) studying under Hans-Ola Ericsson. She holds a Bachelor of Music (McMaster University, Canada), a Masters of Arts in Music Theory (McGill University, Canada), and a Masters of Organ Performance (McGill University).
