Isabelle Demers joins Schulich Faculty 

We’re excited to announce that Dr. Isabelle Demers will be joining the Schulich School of Music as Associate Professor of Organ. 

“We are delighted to welcome Dr. Isabelle Demers to our faculty as Associate Professor of Organ. Dr. Demers is one of the world’s most engaging organ performers and a renowned pedagogue,” says Chair of Performance and head of the search committee Prof. Stéphane Lemelin. “A native Quebecer, we are excited that she will return to Montreal to carry on the distinguished tradition of excellence in organ performance at McGill so well established by her predecessors Profs. John Grew and Hans-Ola Ericsson.” 

Already familiar to the School through her visits as part of the Catherine Thornhill Steele guest series, Prof. Demers will begin full time starting this August. We look forward to her being a part of the Schulich Community as musician, educator, performer, and colleague.
