David Dias Da Silva wins 2016 Stepping Stones Competition

It's been a great month for clarinettist David Dias Da Silva (ArtDip'16).  Not only did he win the 2016 Prix d'Europe, but he has also just been awarded first place in the  Canadian Music Competition's (CMC) Stepping Stone Competition.  In addition to a $10 000 prize, he will also perform at the 2016 CMC’s Gala Concert with the Orchestre symphonique de Drummondville, on July 5, 2016, at Maison des arts Desjardins.  The award also includes a $5 000 career support scholarship from the Jeunesses Musicales Canada Foundation, a three week residency at the Banff Centre for Fine Arts and solo recital in Montréal's Chapelle Historique du Bon-Pasteur.
