Carissa Klopoushak appointed Interim Artistic Director of the Ottawa Chamberfest

Carissa Klopoushak (MMus'08, DMus'13) has been appointed Interim Artistic Director of the Ottawa Chamberfest! 
 
Currently a member of the National Arts Centre Orchestra, and the Ironwood Quartet, she also serves as co-Artistic Director of both the Ritornello and Classical Unbound chamber music festivals. Carissa performs on a Vuillaume violin on loan from the Canada Council Musical Instrument bank and officially started her new role at the Ottawa Chamberfest on August 17, 2020. 
 
When speaking on her new appointment Carissa said: 

“I am excited and deeply honoured to become the next steward of this important Canadian cultural institution, Ottawa Chamberfest.”
