Vox Humana, an affiliate publication of the American Guild of Organists, featured Professor Emeritus in Organ and Church Music John Grew in an interview about French Classical performance practice in Canada. In this interview, Prof. Grew discusses how his passion for French art and music first developed out of his affinity for the Normandy area of France, as well as how French Classical organs faciliate the production of true characteristic sound. Professor Grew also explores his philosophy behind establishing the McGill Summer Organ Academy and the Canadian international Organ Competition, and his desire to provide opportunities for gifted performers to share this music with the world.
