Meet the MSSI Secretariat
Larissa's background is in Environmental Sciences (BSc, Concordia '09) and Water Resource Management (MSc, McGill '12). Before joining the MSSI team, she worked with the Land Use and Global Environment (LUGE) lab at McGill and the University of British Columbia. At the MSSI, she supports the development of new research initiatives, programs and events, the MSSI Collective, and works with MSSI student researchers on projects such as the Sustainable Development Goal mapping and the MSSI Collaboration Dashboard.
Nicole has been involved with research administration at McGill for more than 10 years, including as the program coordinator for the NSERC-CREATE Training Program in Neuroengineering and as the administrative assistant for Healthy Brains, Healthy Lives. She provides support to the research themes, funding streams and committees, as well as manages the finances and general logistics for the MSSI.
Katya has a background in Journalism (BA, Concordia '18). Before joining the MSSI team, she worked as a copy editor for the Montreal Gazette and a communications coordinator for Swab The World, a nonprofit addressing ethnic underrepresentation among stem cell donors. At the MSSI, she writes articles, reports, newsletters, and all other communications content. She also updates the MSSI website, promotes MSSI events, and serves as the MSSI's contact with internal and external communication groups.
