In light of COVID-19 and McGill University's statements on the direction of campus activities, MORSL has had to close our student lounge and also cancel in-person events and appointments for the fall semester; however, our meditation and prayer space is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays by appointment only. We continue to closely monitor any further updates which might affect our regular and special programming.

Although events may be cancelled, our conversations are not! We continue to operate our online services 24/7, and provide support over morsl [at] mcgill.ca (email) and phone to our student community from 10am-4pm, Monday-Friday.

Online Mental Health Support Systems

  • Keep.meSafe: a 24/7, 365 counselling service provided via phone or chat that has minimal wait-times and offers support in over 60 languages.

  • Wellness Together Canada: an online Mental Health and Substance Abuse support platform, for youth and adults, providing free online resources, tools, apps and connections to trained volunteers and qualified mental health professionals when needed.
