DESCRIPTION:Ice-ocean interaction at the inertial frequency\n\nWhen the win
d blows over the ocean\, inertial oscillations are generated from the acti
on of the Coriolis force. Oscillatory motion will then be visible in the o
cean\, or in the ice over the Arctic ocean. Our goal is to study the role
of ice in energy transfers between the air\, the ice and the ocean\, at th
e inertial frequency. This process is important since inertial oscillation
s increase mixing in the upper ocean. A simple model\, buoy data and a glo
 bal model (MITgcm) are used.\n
