 , certified Advanced Rolfer\, and Feldenkrais teacher\, the fascia is Dr. 
 Schleip’s primary area of research. In 2006\, his doctoral thesis on the a
 ctive contractile properties in fascial tissues won the Vladimir Janda Pri
 ze for Musculoskeletal Medicine. Since then\, Dr. Schleip helped create th
 e International Fascia Congress and became Director of the Fascia Research
  Group at the University of Ulm\, through which he continues his research 
 on the fascia. Dr. Schleip remains Executive Research Director of the Euro
 pean Rolfing Association\, Vice President of the Ida P. Rolf Research Foun
 dation\, and Board Member of the Fascia Research Society. His work can be 
 found in various articles and books that he wrote and published.   \n\nJoi
