 ld \n\nWendy Weidner is Head of Research and Publications for Alzheimer’s 
 Disease International (ADI). She leads the development and growth of ADI’s
  global research portfolio in partnership with academic institutions and A
 lzheimer associations for many projects including diagnosis\, dementia car
 e pathways\, interventions\, clinical trials\, epidemiology\, and inclusio
 n and diversity. Ms. Weidner also leads ADI publications\, including the W
 orld Alzheimer Report and From Plan to Impact – a yearly report that track
 s the progress of the Global Action Plan on Dementia. She also coordinates
  and works alongside ADI’s Medical and Scientific Advisory Panel\, a diver
 se group of dementia specialists who provide expert advice to ADI. \n\nMs.
  Weidner will discuss how dementia is understood in different cultures aro
 und the world\, and the implications that can have on diagnosis and treatm
