DESCRIPTION:Target audience: Novice instructors or those with limited simul
 ation-based training using standardized patients\n\nThis workshop is desig
 ned for McGill teaching faculty who are involved (or will be involved) as 
 instructors in simulation-based learning activities. This practical worksh
 op will provide participants with a brief overview of the relevant educati
 onal background\, followed by opportunities to practice debriefing skills 
 with experienced educators in a safe learning environment. Participants wi
 ll be able to incorporate skills they learn in this workshop immediately i
 nto their teaching sessions\, working to optimize the learning of their st
 udents.\n\nAt the end of this session\, the participant will be able to:\n
 \n\n	Outline principles of effective debriefing sessions for simulation-bas
 ed education\n	Apply a framework to debriefing in the simulation context​\n
 \n\nThis workshop is an Accredited Simulation Activity (Section 3) and is 
 eligible for 10.5 Continuing Medical Education credits.\n\nPLEASE CLICK HE
