The procedures for nominating an External Examiner for the thesis and submission of the thesis are set out in a separate document. There are three opportunities a year for submitting a thesis in order that the Master's degree may be conferred at a Convocation in June, October or February. The three deadlines occur in mid-March, mid-July and mid-November, respectively, the precise dates varying from year to year.
Current thesis program information can be found here, including guidelines (preparation & examination), submission deadlines, and final e-thesis procedures.
The students are expected to present result of their thesis work in a Medical Physics Seminar. The presentation is evaluated by staff as part of the overall thesis grade.
