Gentle Yoga Session full description

Format: Inclusive

Facilitator: This session will be guided by McGill alumna Liliana Ospina, McGill Athletics Fitness and Yoga Instructor with over two decades of teaching experience. As a staff member within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Lili helps advance the collective vision—together for better health. Drawing on her passion for holistic well-being, Lili believes that incorporating simple wellness strategies into our daily routine can enrich our lives and enhance our human experience.

Description: Join us for this Gentle Yoga Session to learn the foundational principles of mindful movement. In the midst of demanding schedules and fast-paced environments, true wellness begins with intentional pauses that honor the body's innate need for recovery. Infused with mind-body integration techniques from Hatha Yoga, this session serves as a conscious 'reset' button. Through accessible, low-impact stretches and focused breathwork, we will gently move the body to cultivate a deeper inner connection, allowing you to experience how a gentle, sustained yoga flow can counteract fatigue, enhance clarity, and foster long-term resilience. Take this time to invest in your own well-being, translating the principles of health promotion into a deeply personal, stabilizing practice that honors your longevity. Watch this video to learn more.
