This talk provides an overview of the basic clinical features of the eating disorders Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and Binge Eating Disorder. It presents current thinking on the mix of biological, psychological and social factors that cause these disorders.  It also reviews the psychological, behavioral and nutritional interventions that are considered to constitute “best practices in the treatment of people with eating disorders.
