The CFD Lab and McGill have traditionally attracted outstanding students nationally and internationally.

It maintains this tradition by topping off scholarships through various internal and university-wide mechanisms, the most recent being the Tomlinson Fellowships, earmarked for doctoral and postdoctoral studies.

Killam Prize for Engineering, May 2009.

This is the highest scholarly monetary prize ($100,000, tax free) in Canada, awarded by the Canada Council for the Arts for health sciences, natural sciences, engineering and social sciences.
