McGill University recommends a standard pre-configured desktop for use by administrative staff. The standard desktop is pre-configured and ready to connect to the network. It must be connected to McGill's network and cannot be used off campus or at MUHC hospitals. Orders must be paid for with a FOAPAL. Models other than the standard desktop are available, without software pre-configuration. See Windows Desktops for more information.
