Eduardo Mandri, MBA’2000

Eduardo Mandri
Eduardo is the co-founder and President of Tuango.ca, Quebec's first and largest Group Buying Website.

Eduardo's career in entrepreneurship started at a very young age, selling anything he could get his hands on. As soon as he turned 18 and was able to sign cheques, he launched a small print shop and later on a home-delivery grocery business. Prior to launching Tuango.ca in 2010, Eduardo spent 2 years launching Internet start-ups and working in the online world. As an early web entrepreneur in 1999, he founded and developed U-Swap, an online book exchange service that grew to become Canada's leading website for students. He later worked at Air Canada, where he held a series of positions including e-Business Manager and Business Consultant reporting to the company's CEO. Following his 5-year stint at the airline, Eduardo addressed the travel industry's need for cost-effective advertising by co-founding Travelalerts.ca, a website and online newsletter that today reaches over 1 million Canadians and which was bought by The Toronto Star in 2008. Now as co-CEO of Tuango, Eduardo oversees the day-to-day operations of the company ensuring it continues to be a vibrant, growing and profitable entity.

An entrepreneur at heart, Eduardo is always on the lookout for the next big idea, but he also enjoys spending time with his family, biking, skiing, kite surfing or spending time at the beach in Playa del Carmen. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business and an MBA from McGill University.
