DESCRIPTION:his thematic program will focus on contemporary classification p
 roblems in low-dimensional topology and the interplay between the algebrai
 c\, topological\, geometric and analytic structures that arise in these cl
 assifications. Our focus will be on emerging areas (e.g. hyperbolic manifol
 ds in dimensions 4 or more)\, new progress in traditional areas (e.g. the 
 classification of non-simply-connected topological 4-manifolds)\, and inves
 tigating conjectured connections between disparate structures on low-dimen
 sional manifolds (e.g. the L-space con-jecture).\n\nParticipants should ma
 ke their own accommodation arrangements in advance (if not supported by CR
 M) and be cautious when contacted by third parties who suggest they are as
 sociated with the conference.\n\n\n	\n	\n	The CRM is committed to creating a
