 act: It is still an open problem whether or not Coxeter groups are biautom
 atic. A 2-dimensional Coxeter group is a Coxeter group whose finite parabo
 lic subgroups are all dihedral groups. Damian Osajda\, Piotr Przytycki\, a
 nd I were able to prove that 2-dimensional Coxeter groups are biautomatic.
  In this talk\, I will present the outline of our proof and some of the di
 fficulties of generalizing it to other classes of Coxeter groups. The talk
  will be largely self-contained\, although previous exposure to Coxeter gr
