DESCRIPTION:Title: On the Gan-Gross-Prasad conjecture for U(2)xU(3)\n\n \n
 \nAbstract: The Jacquet-Rallis relative trace formula was introduced as a 
 tool to prove global conjectures of Gan-Gross-Prasad (GGP) for unitary gro
 ups. Its simple version has been successfully applied\, through the work o
 f Z. Yun and W. Zhang\, to prove substantial part of the GGP conjectures a
 s well as its refinement proposed by Ichino-Ikeda and N. Harris. Full trac
 e formula is expected to prove the conjectures completely. In our work wit
 h P.-H. Chaudouard such a formula has been developed and the analysis of i
 ts geometric side has been completed. In this talk I will talk about an on
 going project with P.-H. Chaudouard aiming to study the spectral side of t
 he Jacquet-Rallis trace formula. Applications to the GGP and Ichino-Ikeda 
 conjectures for the U(2)xU(3) case will be discussed.\n
