 re known to be abundant. It was a surprising observation of Ruane that the
 re were no known examples of non-hyperbolic groups with Menger curve bound
 ary found in the literature. Thus Ruane posed the problem (early 2000's) o
 f finding examples (alt. interesting classes) of non-hyperbolic groups wit
 h Menger curve boundary. In this talk I will discuss the first class of su
 ch examples. This is joint work with Chris Hruska and Bakul Sathaye. Time 
 permitting\, I will also discuss related work concerning right-angled Coxe
 ter groups. \n
