 ll explain the influence of the geometry of the interior of the manifold o
 n the spectrum\, mainly when we consider conformal deformations. This is a
  joint work with El Soufi and Girouard. I will also mention a work in prog
 ress with Girouard and Gittins\, for embedded manifolds.\n
