Ndey Yassin Camara

Biography: 

Ndey Yassin Camara is a highly motivated final year Physiology student at McGill University. Yassin, as she is called, is open-minded, highly inquisitive and is in constant search for new ways to evolve and attain new experiences.

While at McGill, she has had three years of laboratory experience in different courses such as Physical and Organic Chemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology, and Physiology. In addition, she interned at the Medical Research Council at the London School of Health and Tropical Medicine, The Gambia, where she worked as a Clinical Laboratory Assistant in Hematology, Microbiology and Biochemistry labs.

Yassin strives for excellence in whatever she does, always pushing herself to be the best she can be. This is evident in her excellent academic record while volunteering as a workshop facilitator with McGill Campus Life & Engagement. Currently, she is handling a part time job as a Remote Learning Assistant with the Medical Education Systems team at McGill Faculty of Medicine. In this role she assists the team in their various roles such as excel data entry, report editing and became acquainted with the ONE45 software system that manages the rotation schedule of Medical students at McGill.

Yassin is passionate about healthcare and is open to opportunities in the field that share her core values of integrity, respect, community, and empathy.
