Hope Zimba

Biography: 

Hope Zimba is a graduate student in the Faculty of Education pursuing a master's in Educational Psychology. She holds a Bachelors in Arts with Education from the University of Zambia.

Prior to joining McGill, she briefly worked as a high school social studies teacher. She also worked with Impact Network, a Non-profit organization providing e-Learning programs in rural community schools of Zambia. She joined Impact Network as an Administrative Assistant to facilitate the retrofitting of 35 community schools and support administrative staff in the expansion of the project. After a year, she took on a new role as Education Program Officer. Her primary responsibilities were to support teachers and teacher supervisors through lesson observations, coaching, and training. She also piloted a homework project to engage students in learning while at home and increase parental participation.

She is passionate about improving the lives of people through social development programs
