Divine USABASE

Biography: 

Divine Usabase is a perpetual learner who thrives in diverse environments. From her lived experiences and her Bachelor’s degree in Environment and Development and a minor in Field Studies from McGill University School of Environment, Divine has come to understand that everything in this beautifully complex world is interconnected. That is why she aspires to be an agent of positive change with impacts that will hopefully reverberate across generations.

Her professional experience spans across various sectors including youth and child rights advocacy with SOS Children’s Villages and the United Nations, Mental Health research with community-based organizations such as Partners in Health and coordination roles with policy-focused organizations such as the Mental Health Commission of Canada. Her proudest achievement thus far has been the co-founding of a youth-led organization named YES 4 Humanity, a global initiative to combat climate change and solve other related issues from an intersectional perspective.
