Brian Kirotich

Biography: 

Kirotich is a tech enthusiast who loves to engage in building tech-based innovations that drive locally viable, high impact, scalable solutions. Driven by this intrinsic motivation, he co-founded Greenchar, a renewable energy startup that upcycles agricultural waste into clean and affordable cooking fuel. He has also worked on SokoMtaani a social enterprise revolutionizing how small-holder farmers connect with city markets. For his leadership and impact, he was a recipient of the McGill Tech-Accel Innovation Fund and a finalist of the World Vision Canada Social Innovation Challenge. At the moment, Kirotich is completing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a minor in Economics at McGill University in Canada. He is keenly interested in implementing his skills to aid in decision making in healthcare, revenue management and financial inclusion by institutions and governments.
