DESCRIPTION:Lister Family Engaged Science Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competi
 tion\n\nMacdonald Campus Master’s and doctoral student competitors present
  their research in 3 minutes to a non-specialist audience with one static 
 slide (competition rules).\n\nThe program includes a mandatory 3-part work
 shop series and a group coaching session to help students prepare for the 
 competition. Students also have access to additional individual coaching s
 essions as needed.\n\nMultiple timeslots are offered for each workshop\, b
 ut students are only required to sign up for one.\n\nCompetition date: Wed
 nesday\, November 25\, 2026\n\nThanks to the generous support of the Liste
 r Family Engaged Science Initiative\, the following prizes will be offered
 : First place - $900\; Second place - $600\; Third place - $350\; People’s
