Field Operations

Field Operations include farmland that is devoted to the production of forages and corn for the farm, pasture for cattle, and demonstration gardens. The Emile A. Lods Agronomy Research Centre provides land for field crop research; the Horticulture Research Centre consists of orchards and vegetable research plots. There is also a market garden that supplies much of the fresh produce served in University residences through the McGill Food and Dining services.
