 \n\nThis workshop series is designed to teach faculty members and graduate
  students effective ways to explain their research to a variety of audienc
 es. These workshops offer participants the opportunity to develop personal
 ized research pitches and present their work effectively in written\, oral
 \, and visual platforms.\n\nThe first workshop\, Creating a Research Narra
 tive\, will cover strategies to articulate their research in ways that are
  accessible to and effective for a diversity of audiences. This session wi
 ll allow students to modify their writing to fit the needs of their audien
 ce\, whether for a conference abstract\, social media platform\, press rel
