Through the generous financial support of Centre Gold, the Department of Animal Science is delighted to welcome Dr. Temple Grandin to speak on the Macdonald Campus.

Temple Grandin is a Professor of Animal Science at Colorado State University, an autistic activist, a bestselling author, the subject of an Oscar-winning movie, and a consultant to the livestock industry on animal behavior. In 2010 she was listed in Time Magazine as one of the World’s most influential people.

Temple is also one of our own, having been awarded an Honorary Doctorate from McGill, here on the Macdonald Campus, in 1999.
