Macdonald Campus Library and Learning Centre

The Macdonald Campus Library and Learning Centre maintains collections on biological, environmental, agricultural, food and nutritional sciences and sustainable agriculture and food systems. Online catalogues, CD-ROM workstations and PCs provide direct links to all McGill University libraries and resources, like the Ecological Agriculture Project.

Lyman MuseumLyman Entomological Museum and Research Laboratory

The Lyman Entomological Museum and Research Laboratory on the Macdonald Campus houses the second largest collection of insects in Canada, comprising more than 2.8 million specimens which are used by students and researchers in biodiversity and entomology from around the world.

The McGill herbarium features over 135,000 specimens.

McGill Herbarium

The McGill Herbarium has a collection of over 135,000 plant specimens, some of which are today extinct -- a collection dating back over 200 years. The Herbarium provides materials for research into plant systematics, cytogenetics, morphology and ecology.
