  • Congratulations to Anna Albertson for being selected to give a poster talk at the 2015 Gordon Research Conference in Natural Products!
  • We welcome Dr. Wenbo Xu to our group as a postdoctoral fellow. Wenbo completed his Ph.D. with Guangxin Liang at Nankai University, where he completed the total synthesis of Echinopines. He then conducted postdoctoral research with Zhixiang Yu at Peking University in the areas of rhodium catalysis and computational chemistry. Welcome to McGill Wenbo!
  • Congratulations to Zheng, Ohhyeon, and Kenn for the recent acceptance of their work into Tetrahedron for a special edition issue in honour of Professors Barry M. Trost and Jiro Tsuji receiving the Tetrahedron Award.

  • Congratulations to Dr. X’s Concordia Team for our recent work on CuII pre-catalysts for our ortho-oxygenation of phenols. This work was recently accepted into Dalton Trans.

  • Prof. Lumb will be co-chair with Prof. CJ Li on a symposium focusing on C-H functionalization, and co-chair with Prof. Bruce Arndtsen on a symposium focusing on organometallic catalysis at the upcoming CSC conference in Ottawa (June 13-17, 2015). Abstract submission is now open.
