Phase two of this service provides access to books housed in the McLennan-Redpath Library Complex (Humanities, Social Sciences, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering), Nahum Gelber Law Library, the Islamic Studies Library and the Marvin Duchow Music Library. Materials from other branches are not available at this time. McGill users can request up to ten items per week using a form. Please note:

  • Requestors will be notified via email when items are ready to be picked up.
  • Books will be held for up to two weeks from the moment the requestor is notified that items are ready for pickup.
  • The contactless pickup service will occur twice a week (Tuesdays & Thursdays from 11AM – 2PM) from the terrace entrance of the McLennan Library Building (3459 McTavish Street). Please note that access to interior work spaces of the McLennan-Redpath Complex is not possible at this time. All Library spaces are closed until further notice.
