Schulich Storage

Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering closed for major renovation work on May 15, 2019. The staff and collections have been temporarily relocated for the two year project (2019-2021).

Where are the collections?

Most of the collections are in the Redpath Basement and items can be requested from the catalogue. Course Reserves, the Reference Collection, and Standards are on the main floor of the McLennan Library Building. The Wendy Patrick Health Information Collection is on the second floor of the McLennan Library Building.

Where are the services and study spaces?

Services and additional study spaces are available in the McLennan-Redpath Complex.

Where are the staff?

They are now in the McLennan-Redpath Complex; the librarians are on the 6th floor of the McLennan Library Building.

For more information on the renovation project, please see the project page.

Schulich Storage (located in the Currie gym) houses many print items in Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering.  It is accessible to library staff only.

You can request an item be delivered from Schulich Storage to any other McGill branch library.

You may also request scanned copies of journal articles or book chapters from the print collections held in Schulich Storage, to be sent to a McGill email address.

Delivery time is normally 2 to 4 business days.
