 dical Assistance in Dying (MAID) as it relates to the rights of persons wi
 th disabilities. With recent reforms in MAID legislation prompting extensi
 ve debate across Canada\, we aim to explore the unique concerns of persons
  with disabilities\, particularly in light of the ethical and legal framew
 orks that shape their experiences and choices.\n\n\n	Sénateur Pierre J. Dal
 phond is the leader of the Groupe progressiste du Sénat\, a member of the 
 joint committee on MAID\, and has analyzed MAID legislation.\n	Dr. Alain Na
 ud is a palliative care doctor and a pioneer of MAID in Quebec.\n	Dr. Chloe
  G.K. Atkins is a Canadian disability rights advocate\, experienced academ
 ic\, and researcher with interests in disability\, bioethics\, vulnerable 
 identities\, phenomenological research\, narrative scholarship\, and human
  rights.\n	Dr. Michael Bach has over 35 years of experience in advocacy and
  research on inclusion and disability rights\, both in Canada and internat
 ionally. He is also an author\, keynote speaker\, and leader in Inclusion\
 , Diversity\, Equity\, and Accessibility (IDEA).\n\n\nModerated by Profess
 or Jonas-Sébastien Beaudry\, Associate Professor\, Faculty of Law\, joint
