 üreli of the McGill University School of Architecture will give a lecture 
 entitled “Architectures of Spatial Justice.”\nAbstract\nSpatial justice li
 nks social justice and physical space. The term\, coined by LA-based urban
  geographer Edward Soja\, highlights the spatial dimension of social justi
 ce. Both justice and injustice can be spatially produced and may become vi
 sible in space. Spatial justice posits that the analysis of interactions b
 etween space and society is necessary to understand social injustices and 
 to formulate territorial policies aimed at tackling them. Prof. Türeli’s r
 esearch has recently focused on housing for spatial justice.\nAbout the se
