Are you a Black student who is either interested or currently applying to McGill Law? If so, we would like to meet with you! The Black Law Students Association of McGill (BLSAM) will be hosting its “See Yourself Here” event on Wednesday, October 26th, 2022 at 6:00 to 8:30 PM in room 203 of the New Chancellor Day Hall Building (3644 Peel St.). If you are unable to attend in-person, please indicate that below and we will have someone meet with you online on the platform Zoom. We will also have a second session on Saturday, October 29th, 2022 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM on Zoom.

In order to increase the representation of Black people at the McGill Faculty of Law and the wider legal community, BLSAM annually hosts a review session of application documents for Black students who are currently in the admissions process at the Faculty. Event attendees will be paired with current Black law students who have formerly been in your shoes and will thus be able to provide pointers and strategies on how to enhance your application portfolio!

So, if you’re a black student interested in applying to law school, you really don’t want to miss out on this amazing opportunity!

NOTE: This event is for undergraduate and mature applicants. We will be hosting another event in Winter for those applying from CEGEP.
If you have any questions don’t hesitate to email us at blsa.law [at] mail.mcgill.ca or DM us on Facebook or Instagram @blsamcgill.

We look forward to seeing you all there!
