The Centre for Human Rights & Legal Pluralism invites you to the a celebration of youth engagement in human rights. Come meet local youth who are transforming their communities.  Hear about their projects, challenges, ideas, and vision!

We know our rights, we are empowered. We raise our voices, we are heard!

For the last 4 years, Equitas’ Speaking Rights program has been supporting youth engagement projects across Montreal. These projects are opportunities for youth organisations to benefit from a small amount of financial support and Equitas’ coaching and support to implement activities allowing youth to play an active and positive role within their communities.

This year, we would like to underscore the quality of their work through a unique public event! Participating youth from the following organizations will be presenting their projects and showing the positive impact of their engagement.

Action Jeunesse de l’Ouest-de l’ile (AJOI)
    Centre Communautaire Dawson
    Centre au Puits
YMCA Pointe St-Charles – Programme éco-quartier Le Sud-Ouest and James Lyng High School
    Maison des jeunes le Zénith
    Overture with the Arts
