The Legal Impact of COVID-19 on Sports: Collusion, Colin Kaepernick and What’s Next

The McGill Sports and Entertainment Law Association student club welcomes Eric Macramalla to discuss the potentially lasting legal impacts of COVID-19 on the sporting industry.

Eric Macramalla is a partner at the international law firm of Gowling WLG. His practice focuses on intellectual property. Eric is also the sports legal analyst for TSN and Forbes, while hosting the nationally syndicated radio show Offside on the TSN radio Network. Eric also contributes to CBS, ESPN, FOX, SIRIUS XM, NBC and CTV. Eric teaches Sports Law at the University of Ottawa law school, and is a frequent speaker, including most recently at Harvard Law School and Brian Burke’s Prime Time Conference.
