I. Faculty of Law Buildings General Information

Located a two-minute walk from the base of Montreal’s downtown landmark Mont Royal Park, the Faculty of Law is in what is referred to as the upper campus and is housed in three 19th century mansions along Peel Street, with the addition of the Nahum Gelber Law Library. Our beautiful buildings, and surrounding area are located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. Along with the rest of McGill, the Faculty honours, recognizes and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the location upon which the Law Faculty now resides.
