Each year, second- and third-year students are invited to try out for a spot on one of McGill’s moot court teams.
Restrictions
Students cannot do a competitive moot if they are going on exchange in the same year.
Students must be headed into their third or fourth year. Also note that your participation in other non-class credit activities (such as Law Journal, TL, etc) may have bearing on selection (i.e. you may have to make choices!)
Pre-requisite for ALL moot competitions: PRAC 200 Advocacy.
Selection
Applications for the 2023-2024 season is now open.
Tryouts will be held March 27 to April 4 remotely via Zoom.
Tryouts schedule is available with the application;
Selection will be announced in July.
